Please note that this website is NOT the City of Chiloquin website, so it is no use asking me questions about city regulations. I just don’t know the answers. The city does not have a website but below is contact information if you wish to reach someone there.

Use this form also to inquire about getting your business added to the business listings. The math question is so that web crawling robots can’t spam me. Just type the answer in the box before you submit the form.

A little bit about this website

I took on this website building project for 2 reasons –

  • 1) Because with the loss of Pat Lanctot, I didn’t know of anyone else who would be interested, and I thought it beneficial to the whole community to have a website. There are business owners here who cannot afford to have their own website, but yet would like to have exposure, and most of the non-profits have no way to get their missions out to the public, except by word of mouth and occasional newspaper articles.
  • 2) Because the thought has been simmering that I would like to know how to build a website, and what better way to learn than to actually build one? So this is my first attempt. I took an online course in WordPress, (this one – it’s super) and the rest has been trial and error. Certainly has occupied me during a cold, dry winter. Expenses? There are some, but mostly it’s time.

So hopefully this is a win-win for Chiloquin and for me. (I know it is for me – I’ve been having fun!)
